Pantone Color of the Year “Living Coral” Inspired Rose Varieties

Today on the blog we are getting inspired by Pantone’s 2019 color of the year Living Coral. According to Pantone it’s “an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge”. We think there are many rose varieties that fit these attributes like some of the pretty varieties below.

Country Home

First, we are featuring the soft and lovely Country Home garden rose variety that is a traditional coral peach.

Free Spirit

Our next “coral” feature is the frilly Free Spirit. This peachy orange bloom has a definite coral vibe with her mix of yellow, orange, peach and bright pink accents. So much color goodness to love!

Sahara Sensation

Next we are going soft and pastel with the light peachy champagne Sahara Sensation spray rose. This variety has stunning larger blooms with a soft garden rose look, making it a great option for the wedding season.

Kahala

This pretty, petal loaded “coral” peach variety with a lovely garden rose look is a total coral stunner.

Coral X-pression

White Majolica is a quintessential white spray rose variety with it’s soft petals and beautiful shades of white and blush. This variety opens fully with a ruffled “garden rose” look to reveal a creamy yellow center. Each stem usually contains 3 to 5 blooms for more impact. This variety ads size and texture variation to any arrangement.

Shimmer

Our last featured variety is Shimmer. This variety has a gorgeous large bloom with shades of light peach and soft pink giving it a lovely pastel coral vibe.
